This October group safari takes you to Tarangire, Northern Serengeti and Central Serengeti, where the final dramatic river crossings unfold along the Mara River. It’s a powerful time of the year, known as the Crossing Season, and a highlight on many wildlife photographers'bucket lists.
During this season, vast herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles push northward, crossing treacherous waters where crocodiles lie in wait and predators like lions and leopards stalk the stragglers. The sheer scale of the herds, the tension of the crossings, and the raw survival instincts on display offer unmatched photographic opportunities.
The lush plains of Central Serengeti offer more than crossings you’ll also have high chances of witnessing hunting behaviour from big cats in open terrain.
This safari is designed for photographers who want to capture high-action wildlife, sweeping savannah scenes, and rare moments of the Great Migration in motion. You'll stay in premium tented camps, enjoy private safari vehicles, and benefit from the expertise of a dedicated photographic host.
