Refund Policy

We understand that travel plans can change. The following refund policy applies to all bookings made with The Photographer’s Safari.
1. Deposits
A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total booking price is required to confirm your safari.
This deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances, except in cases of serious emergencies (see Section 4).
2. Cancellations
If you need to cancel your booking, written notice by email is required. The following charges apply, based on the date of cancellation relative to your arrival:

Additional cancellation fees imposed by our suppliers (e.g., Asilia Africa) will be added to the above charges.
No refunds will be given for late arrivals or no-shows.
3. Refund Method
Approved refunds (where applicable) will be processed via your original payment method (e.g. Stripe).
Refunds will be calculated based on the total amount you paid to The Photographer’s Safari.
4. Emergencies and Exceptions
In cases of serious emergencies (death or hospitalization of a traveller), with reasonable proof, no payment beyond the deposit will be required.
5. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for refunds due to cancellations outside our control (including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, or political unrest).
We strongly recommend that all clients obtain comprehensive travel insurance to cover such risks.
